Work
Lead Android engineer at Tapforce, shipping Parsnip, Builder Brigade, Edda, and Gemini Near Me. Recent focus: an offline-first pass on Builder Brigade — Room snapshots and a WorkManager outbox layered under Apollo live queries — finishing Parsnip's design-token migration (the raw-color ratchet just hit zero), and moving Gemini Near Me screen by screen to MVI with Konsist tests holding the line.
Learning
Kotlin Multiplatform, for real now: I took Brrrr — a legacy
Hilt/Retrofit Android app — through a complete KMP + Compose
Multiplatform rewrite, all logic and UI in commonMain, running on both
platforms. Currently maturing the platform seams; Plaid and push are
still Android-only.
Outside work
Reading, walking the city, the occasional weekend project. Athens.
Inspired by Derek Sivers' /now page convention.
